Some Disney trips

I love love love Disney World, I could go everyday for the rest of my life & not be tired of it. I took KC to Epcot after his birthday to see the fireworks, I just went on 10/23 with my friend CaityBug to Magic kingdom for her 19th birthday, and Hubby & I went to Epcot for his 39th birthday this past Thursday. Every year during this time Epcot has the Food & Wine Festival (like the entire month of October & the first of Nov.) and let me tell you it is one of my favorite things to do. In my younger days, a friend and I would go every year atleast 2 or 3 times and sometimes
end up getting a room on property because neither of us were in any shape to drive. Epcot has the world showcase, which is Disneys version of several countries all over the world . When the Food & Wine Festival is going on World Showcase (that sits around a circular lagoon) sets up small booths from all kinds of countries and you can buy small appetizer portions of several authentic food dishes and various wines, beers, and liqueur. So basically, you walk 10 feet from one country to the next and if you buy something to eat you must have something to wash it down with and by the time youve visited half of the world, you can halfway walk. Before I was married me & my friend "Moo" went and ended up shutting the place down after the fireworks, we decided to get a room . Hubby (ya know, before he was actually my Hubby) was not pleased at my drunken ways and a few choice words were exchanged, and I ended the conversation in extremely slurred words "Immmm in Itally...and Im haven a driiink!! That was one trip, I have lots of stories...and thankfully Im still allowed to walk through the gates. Since Caity isnt 21 yet, she didnt want to go to Epcot so she opted for Magic Kingdom which has most of the big rides, we rode a total of 9 rides which is good considering we didnt get there until right before noon. We ate lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe, and before we left I took her to my favorite spot, the Boardwalk. I ordered her a little cake beforehand and I told her to sit down I was going to get a water, then a came back with a birthday cake singing her Happy Birthday, it was great! Disney really is magical!

That's a wrap!

Friday was #6 of Hubbys BCG treatments, #6 is the last, final one that he has to do! And the crowd goes wild! I was beginning to think I wasnt going to make it to the last one, literally last week I was ready to get th big D. The emotional roller coaster ride you get on when someone you love has cancer is a hard thing to endure. We have had a tough battle the last few weeks, he has felt like crap, I have felt like crap, its all been crap. I had to take a few days to regroup and so did the Hubby, things just get overwhelming sometimes. Now we have one more hurdle left hopefully, another surgery in August at Moffitt again. The best news possible being when they do the surgery they dont find any tumors at all. If everythings all clear in August, he doesnt have to go back for a check-up until November, then continue the 3 month checkups. This has really been tiring on me, not only am I dealing with KC my spunky, typical 2 year old boy, I also have a needy 38 year old Hubby who thinks he should be treated the same. I know that sounds horrible, but being at home most of the day with them both is taking a toll on this mama hen. I need someone to cook, clean, and pick up after me too damnit!! Atleast KC doesnt come back with any smart comments like his Dad, I think we can blame that on the fact hes not talking. Im sure that he will end up being a mini-me version of his Dad in more ways than I care to think about,

We stayed at homebase for the 4th, Hubby has a sweet hook up for fireworks and we get the good stuff! No sparklers and roman candles here, mortars and TnT baby! The mosquitos were terrible, I mean pick you up and tote you off terrible. We dunked in Off before we went outside, and poor KC, and KAS had bites where I didnt get it good. KAS had them on her feet and ankles, and KC had them on his fingers, ear, and neck. We had a few friends over and grilled burgers and dogs. I forgot to charge my batteries for the camera so I didnt get one picture, not one! Nothing fancy schmancy, just a regular holiday weekend.

Heres Hubby giving me the thumbs up for his last treatment. I think he was faking it, what do you think?

ok Im really back this time....I swear

KC, Mom, & I left Wednesday night for a family reunion in Aliceville, Alabama. We went there back in March, but this time we got to see about 200 family members from all over. I also volunteered to coordinate a family cookbook, wait I volunteered? I never do stuff like this, what was I thinking? I made a special email for family to send recipes to, and I got over 20 recipes at the reunion already! This should be a fun project, and I have a entire year to work on it so thats a plus. Feel free to give me your favorite recipes also. This was KCs first reunion and it was so neat taking my son to a place I in a sense grew up. We then rushed back Sunday so Mom could be at work Monday, we got home after 2am and let me tell you it was a long car ride. My Mom is not a good traveler and after about the 9th hour we decided it would be best to not speak. Im used to it so its just better that way. I love my Mom to pieces but shes set in her ways. Thank goodness for dvds because poor KC wouldnt have made it otherwise, he watched Oswald, Clifford, Wonder Pets, and Fraggle Rock and he was out by 9:30pm and we were only past Tallahassee. Monday was spent cleaning up my disaster of a house my Hubby left me, doing laundry, and sleeping!

Today, well today KC started preschool! Im a little freaked out but not to bad, hes only going 2 half days a week from 8-12. I dont have alot of friends with younger kids, so I thought it would be go for him to socialize with other kids his age and learn new things. I struggled to find the right place for him for a few months because its hard leaving him with someone I have no clue about. I found a place close where I actually knew some of the people working their from high school and it made me feel at ease. KC is not a morning person (he takes after his mama I think) so I thought waking him up would be a process but he was fine. I also thought being a so called mamas boy he would not want to stay, but I was wrong on that too. He went right in, came back and gave me a smooch and said bye bye, bye bye. Wow! Take that mama! I came back to pick him up and they said he did so good! They said he follows directions and listens so well already, and I must say it made me feel pretty darn good. I hope Thursday goes just as smooth, but I think hes really going to adjust ok.

It my now extra free 8 hours a week I will be joining a gym, getting a personal trainer, and signing up for some sort of school. Im thinking of getting a surgical tech certificate or something medical where I can work in the hospital. I have always been a creature of the night, so Id really like to work night shift so my daily schedule doesnt change to much. Im just thinking about all this, I havent made any decisions yet but I know I want to do something.

Hubbys treatments having been ok, hes done 3, so now 3 to go. Last week they postponed it a week becuase they were thinking he was starting a infection becuase of some burning he had so hes back on for this Friday. In the last month we have learned of 3 other family members and friends who are also battling various cancers. Our close friend whose in his late 50's discovered he has stage 4 bone cancer in his jaw, and also several lymphnodes. He is also going to Moffitt, and he may be starting chemo and radiation first, or may have surgery first to remove his jawbone and lymphnodes. While at Hubbys treatment, I saw a family friend who used to work for my grandparents business and he has stage 3 colon cancer. He was there getting his chemo treatments and he has 6-8 weeks of that and he will then have surgery to remove part of his colon. And also while in AL one of my Pops cousins, (my 4th or 5th cousin) recently had gastric bypass and lost alot of weight, and discovered he had enlarged lypmhnodes so went to get it checked and he was told he had cancer and he is getting treatment at a cancer center in Auburn. Its just astounding to knew first hand so many people going through this disease. Its really not fair! Please say a pray for those you know, and may not know dealing with cancer.

Thanks for sticking around! :-)

MIA

I am over my laptop situation so I have not been able to post or do a whole lot of reading here lately, it just takes to long to open anything. Im also too broke to go pick up a fancy schmancy new one so please bear with me. On a lighter note KC is starting preschool on June 8th for half days starting out on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Im really excited for him, I know hes going to learn so much & have so much fun. I know the director and a couple of the girls that work there so I feel alot better about him going there. I checked out several other places but its so hard to leave him with someone I have not a clue about. I went and checked out licenses and did as much research as I could but at the end of the day how do you choose? KC was right at home when we went to visit and he could not have cared if I was there or not, he was loving it.

I dont know when my laptop will be back from Best Buy, but I hope its sooner than later cause this thing is killing me!

Hubby has his first BCG treatment on Friday, I know that we will not be doing much for the holiday weekend with all of that going on.
Please say a prayer for him if you remember.

Hubby Update

Hubby's Dr. appointment went well this week, not bad news but not great news either. The tumors removed were all non-malignant growth tumors so no chemo & no radiation. His Dr. is pretty concerned about how quickly the tumors returned, & how agressive they were in covering the whole bladder. He wants to keep a very close eye on this because he doesnt want it to move outside his bladder or worse to other organs and possibly become malignant. He stressed the importance of Hubby losing weight & being more healthy should he need to have surgery for a bladder replacement. So, the plan for now is Hubby has to do 6 weeks of BCG treatments, and then surgery again in August. He hates hates hates the BCG treatments, and without having done it myself I would have to agree! The surgery in August is just bypassing a step in doing a cystoscopy. Instead of doing the cysto to look inside his bladder to see if he has any new tumors, he will be put under so if they see any they can go ahead and remove them all in one step. Hubby doesnt like this idea at all, he hates all this stuff and even though hes had this for 10 years now he still has not been able to grasp and accept it. Its gonna be a rough few months for sure. Hubby has done BCG treatments several times before and they were no success, so he doesnt see the point in doing them again. The time when he did have a good report he was drinking this stuff my aunt got snagged into called Mona Vie. I dont believe in a miracle cure in a bottle, but we are going to try it again & see what happens this go around.

We will find out this week when the treatments are to start. This is going to be a rough Summer! I wanted to post this picture, its on the building its says "to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer."

The early bird gets the.....STARBUCKS!

Yawwwwwwwwwwn! I got woke up this morning at 5am by my dog Bambi having a seizure. After I couldnt go back to sleep I decided to run grab me a Starbucks before anyone started waking up. MMMMmmmm Iced Marble Mocha Macchiato my favorite! Venti, Thank you I feel like get alot accomplished on a Saturday. Bambi is ok now, had a few more in between then and 11am nothing out of the ordinary for her. It seems like thats all I do anymore is take care of someone whether its Hubby, or KC, and now Bambi someone is this house always has some sort of ailment.

Monday, we went to a nearby park that has its own spring (swimming hole). Its about 15 minutes away, and I havent been there since I was probably about 15 years old. The water is blue as ever and freezing. It costs $1.00 to get in and you can swim all day. We went early, and while we were there there were only maybe 6 other people. I know once school lets out we wont have the whole place to ourselves like that, but it was nice. Especially since I didnt shave my legs or pits before we left...haha! Gross I know, but hey it was a spur of the moment idea.

The Hubby is good, (thanks to everyone for checking on him) hes been taking it easy still and this Monday we go for a post-op check up and the pathology reports. I mentioned way back here about him playing the bass (guitar), and thats what hes been spending alot of his time doing. He went to the music store and bought new strings, and he also bought one of the teach your self how to play instructional dvds. He planted himself in front of the tv in our bedroom with this guitar, and mini amp & started jamming out. I wanted to stab myself in the ears!! Its the same beats over & over & over & you get the drift! Then he would rewind and play along again & again. After he thought he had mastered a part hed then yell out "Listen to this, babe". How could I not hear it already? Im sure I could stand in the yard & still hear it. Atleast hes passing the time in some way, Id prefer a weeded flower bed, or edged driveway but ehh he did just have surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago so I will roll with it. Hes back to work on Tuesday anyways so he better enjoy it while he can!

We are having a clean up weekend in the house because I have been lazy over the last few weeks. Its supposed to hit 90 today so we'll more than be out sunning by KC's baby pool later on.

Heres a few photos of KC at the spring on Monday, I didnt get that many because I was in the water most of the time.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Boo boo's, allergies, and scrapes...oh my!

In the last week KC has gotten enough bumps, bruises, and scrapes to last him for awhile. Last week we dealt with a stupid mosquito bite that left his left eye swollen shut. This week we have skinned knees, a shin , and a nose. He took a nose dive literally in our carport on Saturday and come up with half of his nose filleted open. Next he was pushing his dumptruck around and got going to fast and his knees ate it on the same patch of carport. We then went to visit our neighbors down the road where he fell on his knees again, followed by his right shin. He also got another nice mosquito bite in the middle of his forehead. Poor guy has had a bad week, Im thinking in investing in Neosporin after this weekend.

The Hubby got rid of his catheter finally, he feels so much better. He isnt passing blood or clots either which is great news. We go back to the Dr. on May 5th for a recheck and to find out the lab results. A long time to wait and worry in my opinion.

We didnt do a whole lot this weekend, just hung around the house. I put away all the Easter decorations and cleaned out the garage some. My goal is to convert half of the garage into my craft/scrapbooking room and slowly but surely I think my idea is taking hold. Im in the process of searching craigslist for some desks and storage ideas since I have everything cleaned out. The Hubby has his own manly garage for all his tools and toys, but I have nowhere to call "my" place and the kitchen doesnt count! Im really looking forward to having a area to call my own so I can get back to doing things that I enjoy by myself. Everyone needs "me" time and I have been missing out on that for sometime now. Well enough boring you all, have a great week!

Finally....some Easter photos & a update on Hubby

I still dont have my laptop, and with everything going on its not been high on my priority list. I have been posting my pictures from this dinosaur but I am not able to resize or edit them because I have none of my programs, or favorites, or anything on this stupid thing! The Hubby is finally home, he was able to come home Thursday afternoon. After spending 4 days in there he was ready to come home, even though the food was great! That place is just the greatest place, people are there from all around the world for one common cause....cancer. I brought my camera Wednesday when I took KC to visit him in the hospital, but Hubby said if I took a picture as soon as he got out of there he would smash my camera into a million tiny pieces, so it never came out of the bag. Guess you could say he did not want any memories of this huh? Im playing nurse until Monday when I get to remove his catheter. Wait...what did I just say?? You read it right, they taught me how to remove a catheter from my husbands penis before we left the hospital and I will tell you I am about as pleased at that as my Hubby is. I also learned how to properly flush a bladder through a catheter with a giant syringe & some saline. Fun huh? On a lighter note, he did tell me that hes had more women touching his pecker (his exact words) in the last 4 days than he has in his whole life. I laughed so hard in the car on the way home I cried. I had to add the fact that a few men had done the deed also, since he has male Drs., he didnt find that to funny though.

I wanted to share some Easter photos because if I dont I know I never will. On Easter KC, KAS, & I went to church, then after church we went to my familys to eat lunch. KC got to hunt eggs for the first time, even though he was by himself. He still had a blast! KAS & I colored eggs on Saturday while KC was napping because its just to messy for him still. We did tie dyed eggs, camo eggs, and some other cool ones too.

Enjoy!

Yesterdays News

Well, a last minute change happened yesterday and the Hubby did not come home as planned. His surgery was supposed to last right around 1 hour and 2 1/2 hours later I knew it could not be good news and I was right. The surgery was to remove 2-3 tumors that were seen during a cystoscopy in November. At that time Hubby had no insurance and the bills at Moffitt totalled right around the $20,000.00 mark from previous surgeries and procedures so we applied for financial aid through Moffitt. During the holidays our paperwork was somehow"misplaced" and we didnt find out until February. We re-applied then and it was just approved at 100% payment 2 weeks ago, so his surgery was pushed to the front since it had been so long. When his Dr. went in his bladder he said the entire inside of his bladder was covered in tumors and in all he lasered out tumors that added up to the size of a grapefruit. He said Hubbys CT scan did not show any tumors or growths on the outside of the bladder which he was pleased about, and he said the tumors that were removed we not deep in the muscle which he was also pleased about. He was really concerned at the amount of the time it took these tumors to take over, and in the 7 or 8 years we have been with this Dr. I have never heard him use the word concerned which really made me uneasy. He also used the actual word cancer which scared the shit out of me. This decade of dealing I have always told myself it wasnt real cancer, so it would be ok. I always rationalized it in my mind that the kind of cancer that kills is the malignant kind, which my Hubby didnt have so its all good. In 1998 when this all started Hubbys tumors were actually malignant cancerous tumors in his bladder, and from then until just today all tumors that were removed in other surgeries were benign, superficial growth tumors, and that is a HUGE difference! The tumors today were sent off to the pathologist to determine if they are the superficial growth tumors we are used to, or the the other cancer kind that we really really dont want. The results should be back in 3 - 10 days, but the nurse said usually they are back within 3-5 days. The Dr. also did say some news I was glad to hear, but then followed by some more news I didnt want to hear. The good news, after this surgery the Dr. said he is leaning more towards NOT doing a bladder replacement, after the last 2 surgeries he had said he was only going to do this a few more times before he wanted to just replace his whole bladder. Right after this, he said that if the pathology reports come back as cancer we would discuss our options further, but that he would more than likely want to start some rounds of chemo and radiation since that path has never been taken and see what happened. Hubby has been lucky that he has never had to do any of these treatments, and I hope he stays that way. So, with all the cutting inside his bladder he was still bleeding pretty bad so they decided to keep him over night. His catheter got clogged with blood clots 4 times over the evening because he was bleeding so much. Just the thought makes me cringe! I didnt tell the Hubby all the details because he was still to out of it to really comprehend it all, and I knew it would just scare him. I didnt leave the hospital until 9pm, and he didnt want me to leave him but I just couldnt do it. Hubby said this morning that the Dr. came in to check on him and there was still way to much blood so he may be able to come home tonight at the earliest. I dont recall many people checking out at night so Im assuming he will more than likely stay again tonight. I hope these results come back quickly and they hold positive news for us!

Blahhhh!

Hubby came through surgery ok, but we didnt get good news. He actually had to stay overnight because of nausea and he was still bleeding quite a bit but he should be home tomorrow hopefully.

I have started compiling the details to post tomorrow because I wanted to read it again when Im not so out of it. I dont think I have been this tired since I came home from the hospital with a newborn baby KC!

Im off to dream that this all is just a dream.

Thank you for caring!

Surgery Day

Ok, so I never found time to post about Hubbys surgery but over the next few days I should have a alot of free time. Surgery is today at 12:45pm at Moffitt. His surgery shouldnt last more than 2 hours, the are going up in his bladder to remove several large tumors. This is a day surgery so we should be home by later this evening unless plans change last minute. This makes 11 surgeries for this same thing so it should be a cake walk, but its not. My Hubby hates anesthesia, and hospitals like most guys do, and hes the biggest sissy, like most guys are. Last time we did this he was sent home with a catheter which I had to remove 3 days later, and Im not a RN for a reason. Can we say ICKY! It was not fun at all, for me and certainly not for him. Im not good at all this, I get frusturated and agitated because men are supposed to be men and I dont know how to handle a balling 38 year old man very well. Ive had several surgeries and its always not been a big deal to me. Is that insensitive of me? I hate that I feel that way but Im just like get a grip! Oh how I hate this part!

Please keep us in your thoughts & prayers this afternoon.
I will update once we get home and settled.

Thanks so much!

TRAITOR....me??

Yes, yes, I am a traitor. You see my love for Disney is so strong that I havent been to any other theme park since 1997 when I last went to Busch Gardens. Living in Florida is a vacation dream anyday of the week, there is Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and now Hollywood Studios which make up Disney World, (yes Disney World is actually 4 parks for some that may not know that), Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, and Busch Gardens all within a short drive. All these choices but really with my way overpriced, kinda Florida discounted annual Disney pass, there is no other choice. So, until last week I had not ever thought about cheating on my true love......until we got some free tickets courtesy of my BIL! Hey, KC told me he wanted to go play in the water and see meerkats so I couldnt say no.

We went last Thursday and it rained the first half of the day. As soon as it quit we loaded up. Once we got there and pulled out the stroller I swear on my life the tire was flat! We went to buy a patch for the tube, and in natural pit crew action the Hubby and I patched that tube, put the tire back on the rim with 2 pens, aired it up and went back to park. After the slight delay we were in the gate and ready for fun. We saw lots of animals, The Hubby & I ate some BBQ, I rode Shiekra, we played in the water play area for kids, rode the carousel; it was just a fun and relaxed afternoon. KC loved the fish, turtles, elephants, and the meerkats. Oh did he have fun watching the meerkats, or did they have fun watching him?? I'll let you be the judge.

Just to clarify I did wear a Disney hat to show my love, come on now.

Today..

Today, marks the one week spot for the Hubbys surgery.

Today, I made him go for pre-op all by hisself.

Today, I am not looking forward to the week ahead and the weeks that will follow.

Today, I wonder why everyone always thinks that I am so strong.

Today, I thank others from the bottom of my heart for providing my family the financial aid needed to pay for Hubbys surgery 100%, healthcare for one year, and $20,000.00 in bills that were already accumulated, all paid for by donations to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.

Today, I wish that one day we will be able to help someone else like we have been helped.

Today, my mind wrestles with the thought of my Hubby not being here.

Today, I try to tell myself everything is fine.

Today, I want this surgery to be the last surgery.

Today, I worry.

Today, I hope.

Today, I pray for my Hubby and others.

Oh what a glorious evening, if you're really expecting something glorious then please dont read!

I left the house this evening right around 6pm leaving KC with the hubby for a quick trip to Wal-Mart for some Tide, shaving cream, razor blades, toothpaste, and a handful of Easter goodies. After checking out and spending $48.72 on on 8 items I headed to the car in tears remembering the good 'ole days when I could walk in a store and not worry one second about how much money I was spending. Not today though, today I am saving change, clipping coupons, and adding things in my mind as I buy them not forgetting to add the tax. So with my mind racing about all our finances I pull out of the parking lot headed to spend some more money we really dont have feeding my gas sucker. I had my blinker on to make a right and a car zoomed up behind me and to keep this non driving fool from crashing into me, I hung my right hit the curb and my tire blew out on the sidewall which I already knew was not fixable. Lovely! Just great, and these tires are about $200 a piece so I knew this was going to be fun. I tried calling the hubby for over 30 mins. to no avail, so I called the in-laws and he was there but he was in no way happy and hung up on me. Once he got there it was, I know you were talking on the phone, which I was not, how can you hit a curb like that, why didnt you just let the dumb ass hit you, do you know how much a new tire is gonna cost, were you not paying attention, do you realize this is the 3rd time you've done this, (which was later recanted, it only happened one other time in 2000 when I jumped a huge curb Dukes of Hazzard style in my Celica and in my defense I drove a Z71 truck before that). Anyways, thankfully this all happened at the gas station and minus my precious cargo, but it was still a pain in the keyster. The hubby went back home to get all the necessary tools to put on the spare and instructed me to sit in the car. I was more than happy to sit in the car because I knew we were on the edge of a argument so I patiently waited for the all done signal so I could go back home. Much later in the evening when I was done making supper, that was almost 2 hours late the hubby decided to apologize and say sorry for being so mean. I responded by saying no big deal, I hit that curb on purpose just to make his life a little more crappy today, I did it with intent and forethought just to be able to suck some more money out of our savings which is now non-existent. Im really nice to, right? Grrrrr, is there anything else I can screw up or make worse? The good part is I will only be buying one tire, not four! I think Sneaky Momma jinxed me on the tire deal, so Im totally blaming her for my mishap since I never once laughed while reading about their tire adventure. Click the link to read her tire story, but dont blame me if next week you need a new tire too!

some Roses for my hubby

How can you love someone so much, but then sometimes want to bash their brains in with a iron skillet. Im totally kidding! I did come across this clip from War of the Roses though and it made me laugh so hard I snorted out loud. I havent seen that movie since I dont know when, but I found it hilarious tonight for some reason. I think my fairy is making her appearance early this month because the hubby is on my last nerve. I usually try my best to say something nice or not at all, but I couldnt do it this time. Forgive me Lord for my mouth runneth over, and then spilled onto the floor!

Sorry for my crabiness!

Not Me Monday

I did not work out a total of 5 days this past week, I did not burn a total of 1,103 calories on the elliptical machine I now spend what adds up to hours on. I did not do a 13 minute ab workout everyday from the "on demand" from the tv, and on day number 2 I did not so wanna die. It did not hurt to laugh, it did not hurt to sneeze, or cough, or move for that matter! It was not rewarding on day number 5 to feel alive again, and ready to conquer program number 5 on my new sleek black framed friend. It was not me who hit the stop button 7 minutes in to tap out and decided to just leave it on manual for the duration of my workout.

Speaking of tap out, my hubby did not call me away from cooking dinner Thursday night to look at his latest discovery on you tube, Gina Carano a women's MMA fighter that will drop just about any guy I can think of. Shes not someone to piss off, thats for sure!

I did not drop KC of at Gigi's house (my mom) yesterday all afternoon so I could do some shopping and roaming by myself. It was not nice at all to be all alone for several hours doing exactly what I wanted to do. You know, Toys R Us, WalMart, exactly what I wanted to be doing! HA! We did not stay for dinner at my moms for rice & beef tips, homemade cornbread, black eyed peas, and squash! I so did not eat a second helping on the one day of the week I allow myself to eat anything I want to! That and my grande Starbucks did not total the calories I worked off this week either did it?

KC did not learn how to finally climb on the couch of by himself, he immediately did not walk right off the couch and face plant the floor. He did not learn his lesson and climb right back up and then slide down on his tummy like his should do.

My hubby and his oldest brother did not spend all of Thursday and Friday being mad at each other and acting like 15 year olds. They were not at all standing in our front yard shouting ugly things at each other over a friggin septic tank! They were not back to speaking and ribbing each other like normal by Saturday. Not normal behaviour from my 39 yr old hubby and 45 yr old BIL!

Well that was a few of my highlights from the week, now off to start some more! Head over to MckMama to check out more Not Me Mondays!

Heres a few photos:

Tribute Tuesday

Photobucket

This is going to be short & sweet becuase I have caught the funk from my son, and I NEVER get sick! Except for this time! I feel like someone has run over me with a Mack truck for real!

My Tribute Tuesday is for several things.

Sierra Mist. Pictures, Images and Photos
#1 . Sierra Mist, for being so great & wonderful in my tummy when everything else evacuated the area.
tylenol Pictures, Images and Photos
#2 . Tylenol Cold & Flu medicine, for getting rid of the achiness that makes it hurt to just be still. When I ache its better to lay in bed & be restless than to just lay there and take it.

# 3. Thomas's english muffins, becuase thats the only thing that has agreed to stay down the past few days.
Tempur-Pedic Pictures, Images and Photos
# 4. Tempur-Pedic beds, because when you feel like crap and you have no other choice but to stay in bed, its nice to have a comfy bed to lay in ALL day! I love my bed, you will never own a different bed once you have one.

and last but not least...

# 5. My hubby, for being Mr. Mom today and satying home to take care of us. He made KC breakfast, brought me medicine, drinks, played with KC, thoughed it out through, Oswald, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Wilbur, Play with me Sesame, and Wonder Pets. I didnt like the tv being on cartoons all day, but hey whatever works! And for being the sweetest nurse a girl could ask for!

Check out Wayne's Tribute Tuesday and others.

Oh how I hope tomorrow is a better day!
